Right-hander Dusty Troutman mesmerized the Northwest Arkansas Naturals while leading the San Antonio Missions to a 3-0 victory. Troutman, now 7-4, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Jacob Magaw recorded the save for San Antonio, his 21st of the season.
In the bottom of the fourth, San Antonio center fielder Kenny Helm had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Helm stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 1-0, San Antonio. For the game, he was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles.
Helm attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
