The Tulsa Drillers defeated the Frisco RoughRiders, 8-6. Left Fielder Alex Parra deserved a large share of the credit. Parra went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Drillers. With the win, Tulsa upped its record to 71-46.

With Tulsa leading 3-1 in the top of the fourth, Parra batted against Frisco pitcher Myles Haggard. Parra hit a fastball to right for a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season put the Drillers on top, 5-1.

"It was our day today," Parra told the Tulsa Herald. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
