Morones Tames RockHounds

The Arkansas Travelers scooped up a win at Dickey-Stephens Park, dumping the Midland RockHounds, 7-2. Tony Morones, who is tied for 2nd in the TEX with a 1.06 WHIP, was essential to his team's success. Arkansas is now 58-60, Midland 47-71.
Morones, the winner, is now 6-7, after putting the clamps on the Midland offense. In 7.2 innings of work, he gave up 2 runs on 2 hits, while collecting 12 Ks.
