Missions Win Streak Now at 8 After 6-3 Victory
|
San Antonio pitcher Steve Golunski had a large part in his team beating the Arkansas Travelers, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. San Antonio occupies first place in the South Division at 66-53.
It could have been a different outcome for San Antonio, had it not been for Rich Saez, the 31-year old center fielder . Saez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put San Antonio up, 4-3.
"It's fun to come to the yard every day when you're winning," said San Antonio manager Matt Pace.
