Northwest Arkansas got a valiant performance from pitcher Javon Bolton, but it wasn't enough to beat the Frisco RoughRiders. Frisco won the game, 7-6. Bolton threw 7.0 innings allowing 5 runs for the losing team. The win for the RoughRiders lifted their record to 63-57.

Frisco used the clutch hitting of Marco Sanchez to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the RoughRiders the lead, 6-5. For the game, Sanchez had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Frisco manager Andy Fletcher.
