Midland RockHounds starter Matthew Hainsworth was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 5-2. Manny Roman earned the save, his 6th. The last-place RockHounds lifted their record to 45-76.

Tong-myeon Narm had a big 2-run double for the RockHounds in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Midland leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Joel Horton and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the RockHounds ahead, 3-0.

Said losing manager Travis Brassard: "We just didn't get it done tonight."
