The San Antonio Missions handed the Tulsa Drillers a sound defeat, 11-1, at ONEOK Field. Craig Templeton was a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for San Antonio. Jose Perez snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 3.2 innings. He's now 8-4 on the season. The first-place Missions have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

The Missions got a big hit from right fielder Davy Lewis. Facing Tulsa pitcher Donovan Harding in the top of the fifth, Lewis pounded a grand slam home run to center. His 13th home run of the season put the Missions ahead, 8-0.

Missions manager David Medina had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
