Arkansas beat Frisco at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Rafael Cabrera. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Arkansas pitcher Ray Wilner earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Raul Guillen suffered the loss. The win puts the Travelers at 54-70, while the RoughRiders drop to 60-64.

Cabrera contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Arkansas in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 5-4, Cabrera took a fastball from Raul Guillen and stroked the home run to left. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Travelers to leap in front, 7-5.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Cabrera.
