Juan Franco did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Midland RockHounds an extra-inning, 6-5 loss to the Frisco RoughRiders at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Franco was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3. Jose Obeso, who is tied for 9th in the TEX in saves with 8, picked up the win in relief. Justin Satern took the loss for Midland. The last-place RoughRiders lifted their record to 44-82.

The RoughRiders got a clutch hit from right fielder Dan Morales. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the RoughRiders.

"The crowd was juiced," said Morales.
