The Midland RockHounds got a superb performance from pitcher Joey Wright, but the Frisco RoughRiders still won the game, 7-6. Wright threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Frisco is now 68-58, 7 games up in the South Division.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 25-year old third baseman An-yi Sha had a chance to be the hero. Midland pitcher Israel Salanova had other ideas. But with one out, Sha hit a sacrifice fly. The RoughRiders had themselves a dramatic win.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Carlos Mercado.
