The Frisco RoughRiders captured an easy win, 13-3, over the Midland RockHounds at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Francisco Cansino led the offensive barrage, going 2-for-3 for Frisco. The second-place RoughRiders hiked their record to 65-63.

Frisco grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Cansino hit a 2-run double off Xavier Serrano. His 20th double of the season put the RoughRiders out in front, 4-2.

Midland manager Jay Mizrahi said: "The beauty of this game is games like this only count as one loss."
