The San Antonio Missions easily defeated the Frisco RoughRiders, 12-1, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, with shortstop Zach Elerson a main contributor to the win. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for San Antonio. San Antonio starter Victor Duro was credited with the win after throwing 86 pitches over 5.2 innings. His record now stands at 15-6. Tom Ruoff got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.

With San Antonio leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Elerson hit a fastball from Simon Bellett for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Missions ahead, 5-0.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Missions manager Mike Coveney.
