The Frisco RoughRiders were defeated, 4-0, by the San Antonio Missions at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, even though Byron Ferraro pitched well for Frisco. The win puts San Antonio at 84-50 this season.

The Missions had to work out of trouble with one out in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-0, San Antonio. But Frisco, with the bases loaded, had mounted a threat. Juan Areas dug in at the plate. But on a 3-1 fastball, Areas lined out.
