In a close game at Security Bank Ballpark, the Midland RockHounds edged the San Antonio Missions, 4-3. Midland center fielder Mario Bustos stood apart with his performance. He went 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The RockHounds improved to 54-83.

Had Aldo Bardi not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Bardi hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the RockHounds.
