Missions Use Late Rally to Win
|
The San Antonio Missions beat the Midland RockHounds, 4-2. San Antonio pitcher and Bel Air South, Maryland, native Bobby Isom led the way. Today's win puts San Antonio at 82-56, while Midland falls to 64-74.
San Antonio got a game-changing hit from Dave Preston. The pinch hitter blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
Preston described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
