Solomon Blanks Binghamton, 5-0
|
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Binghamton Mets as starter Tim Solomon shut them out, 5-0, at The Diamond. The Richmond pitcher struck out 7 and walked 4 while allowing 3 hits.
"Solomon was good but he wasn't flawless," Binghamton manager Mike Keeney said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Richmond, but this is on us."
