The Bowie Baysox took on the Altoona Curve at People's Natural Gas Field.

Bowie designated hitter Oscar Vega was a significant contributor in his team's 7-6 triumph over the Altoona Curve. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Baysox. Altoona now is 6-7.

David Swenson had a big 2-run home run for the Baysox in the top of the fifth inning. With Bowie trailing 6-5 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Tapia and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Baysox ahead, 7-6.
