RubberDucks Find a Way to Win
Akron right-hander Omar Eason helped his team edge Portland by the score of 3-2 in 11 innings. Eason kept the opposing lineup in check. Mark Krause claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The loss drops Portland to 6-7.

The RubberDucks got a clutch hit from right fielder Jose Fresquez. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the RubberDucks.

"Tip of the cap to the RubberDucks," said Portland manager Jason Hawkins. "They played a good game."
