Reynaldo Briones was brilliant in helping Winston-Salem beat the Carolina Mudcats, 3-0. With the win, Winston-Salem boosts its record to 3-1.

Briones earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Winston-Salem. The native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Carolina hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
