G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium was the site for Carolina League action featuring the Potomac Nationals and Lynchburg Hillcats.

Behind an impressive start by Juan Vizcaya, Lynchburg beat Potomac, 4-2. The loss drops Potomac to 5-6.

Lynchburg used the clutch hitting of Tadashiro Hasegawa to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hillcats ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Winning never gets old," said Vizcaya.
