Pelicans Need Extra Frames to Get Past Mudcats
Danny Zuniga did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Carolina Mudcats from losing the game, 8-7, to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in 10 innings at Grainger Stadium. Zuniga was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win went to Noah Boyd in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Manuel Carrasco took the loss.
