Fitzsimons belts 2 home runs to Ignite Pelicans Offense
Behind a fine performance from Eric Fitzsimons, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans knocked off the Salem Red Sox, 6-2. Fitzsimons went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Pelicans. With the win, Myrtle Beach boosts its record to 7-4.

Myrtle Beach grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Fitzsimons hit a 3-run home run off Armando Lopez. His 2nd home run of the season put the Pelicans out in front, 5-2.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Fitzsimons.
