The Wilmington Blue Rocks beat the Potomac Nationals, 5-4, in 10 innings. Wilmington pitcher and Takanosu, Japan, native Shizuo Saito led the way. Robert Gastelum came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The win gives Wilmington a record of 6-5.

The Blue Rocks got a clutch hit from shortstop Jose Andres. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Blue Rocks.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Potomac manager Justin Bland. "The effort was great."
