Carlos Miera pitched a gem to lead Potomac to victory over the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 5-1. The Blue Rocks fall to 5-8 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2111 season.

Miera gave Potomac a solid start. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 9 innings.

"Carlos just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Potomac manager Cruz Mares.
