Randle Lifts Hillcats to 7-4 Win
The Lynchburg Hillcats handed the Wilmington Blue Rocks a loss at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. The final score was 7-4. Jordan Randle made the highlight reel for Lynchburg. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 4. He also added 2 bases on balls. Doug Vannette was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. It was the 11th win in 17 games this year for the defending champion Hillcats, who are picking up where they left off.

Randle had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Vinny Nieto, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Hillcats a 7-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Randle.

"Solid performance from our side," said Hillcats manager Diego Perez.
