Myrtle Beach had no answer for Frederick Keys hurler Sean Bartholomew, who overwhelmed Pelicans hitters as the Keys coasted to victory, 6-1. Myrtle Beach, with the loss, is 6-13.

Matt Valencia, who is tied for 4th in the CAR in hits with 20, took Myrtle Beach hurler Victor Arias deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Keys on top, 2-1. In all, Valencia had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
