Wilmington Blue Rocks starter Arturo Valverde found his groove in his team's 6-0 win over the Carolina Mudcats. With the win, Wilmington goes to 9-10.

Carolina had little success against Valverde and his fastball. Valverde tossed 92 pitches over 8.1 innings for the Blue Rocks.
