Randle belts 2 home runs to Ignite Hillcats Offense
The Lynchburg Hillcats defeated the Wilmington Blue Rocks by the score of 10-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Jordan Randle. Randle slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Hillcats on the day. The win belonged to Alex Gomez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Vinny Nieto took the loss for Wilmington. The loss lowers the Wilmington record to 7-17.

Alex Venecia contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Lynchburg get the win.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Lynchburg manager Diego Perez.
