Nationals Overcome Great Performance by Valenzuela in Win
Potomac and Salem engaged in a slugfest.

Salem first baseman Marco Valenzuela pounded Potomac Nationals pitchers at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Red Sox from falling, 13-10. Valenzuela slugged 3 home runs, while adding 9 RBI and scoring three times. Potomac sits at 9-15.

In the bottom of the third, Potomac left fielder Nathan Jackson had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Jackson stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 10-7, Potomac.
