Blue Rocks Earn 6-2 Win Against Nationals
The Wilmington Blue Rocks faced a tenacious opponent in Potomac pitcher Alvaro Morales, but still scratched out a win at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium by a final score of 6-2 in 10 innings. Morales went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Mike Sanchez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Joe Hannahs was tagged with the loss. The victory makes Wilmington 11-14.

Wilmington used a timely hit from Eddy Guadarrama to get the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blue Rocks ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.
