The Carolina Mudcats beat the Winston-Salem Dash, 7-5, at Grainger Stadium. Seth White went 3 for 5 with 3 doubles. He scored 3 runs. The 25-year old third baseman was a menace to Winston-Salem all day. Tony Aguirre, 3-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. With the win, Carolina lifts its record to 14-13.

Carolina center fielder Justin Hall contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 8th hit of the season and put the Mudcats ahead, 6-5.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said White.
