Late Offense Lifts Winston-Salem to 10-3 Victory
The Winston-Salem Dash pinned a convincing loss on the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 10-3, at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. Gabriel Lujan was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Winston-Salem. The Blue Rocks, now 10-18, continue their sluggish start.

The Dash benefited from a costly error in the top of the ninth. With Chris Thornton at bat and Winston-Salem leading 3-2, the Wilmington miscue allowed Winston-Salem to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-2.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Lujan told the Winston-Salem Today.
