Ramon Ramires had a good game, but he could not keep the Lynchburg Hillcats from falling, 10-6, to the Potomac Nationals at Ed Smith Stadium. The Lynchburg catcher went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 in the loss. Xavier Crawford, credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits. The Nationals have an impressive 18-11 record.

Potomac used the timely hitting of Zion Hamilton to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Nationals ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Good win for us," said Hamilton. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
