Frederick 3-1 Losers to Mudcats

The Frederick Keys got a sterling performance from pitcher Júlio Bourbon, but the Carolina Mudcats still prevailed, 3-1. Bourbon threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The Mudcats now have a record of 11-18 with the win over Frederick.
It could have been a different outcome for Carolina, had it not been for Greg Stevens, the former first round draft pick . Stevens contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Carolina up, 2-0.
