The Potomac Nationals and Wilmington Blue Rocks riveted fans at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium.

D.J. Gibson impressed in the 6-4 Wilmington win over Potomac. Gibson was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs. Vince Schmidt picked up the save for Wilmington, his 2nd of the year.

Ricky Juarez helped out the Wilmington cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1, while adding 2 RBI.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Wilmington manager Bobby Clontz.

The Blue Rocks are now 22-19, while the Nationals fall to 24-17.
