Free Falling Red Sox Lose Again
Wilmington starter Vasquo Torricho kept the Salem offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 13-1. Now 13-29, Salem has lost 10 in a row.

Leo Ramos had a big 2-run double for the Blue Rocks in the top of the first inning. With Wilmington leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Efrain Fernandez and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Rocks ahead, 5-0.

Salem manager Tommy Gallant summed up his team's performance in one word: "Pathetic."
