Getting offensive support from Lance Ramsey, the Potomac Nationals topped the Lynchburg Hillcats, 8-5. Ramsey was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Nationals. The win went to Willie Solis in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Shane Sanner took the loss. With the win, the Nationals have a record of 22-21.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Nationals grabbed the lead when Ramsey hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Shane Sanner made it 7-5, Potomac.
