5 times is the charm -- at least for Mike Galvan.

The Carolina Mudcats center fielder tore up the Potomac Nationals to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The offensive onslaught from Galvan powered the 9-2 Mudcats win.

"Galvan was a tough out," Potomac manager Cruz Mares said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Mike Galvan hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
