3-2 Loss Extends Frederick Losing Streak
The Wilmington Blue Rocks eked out a 3-2 win versus the Frederick Keys at Harry Grove Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Alex Lara. He was terrific. In 6 innings, Lara surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The last-place Keys have lost 6 consecutive games.

António Livramento, the 23-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Livramento contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Wilmington up, 3-2.
