The home crowd had a good time watching the Lynchburg Hillcats and Wilmington Blue Rocks get after it.

Toby Thigpen was a major contributor to the 7-5 Wilmington win over Lynchburg. The Blue Rocks right fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win elevated the Blue Rocks to 24-22.

Wilmington went up, 7-5, on Aaron Foehl's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Foehl hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Lynchburg pitcher Cory Lankford muttering to himself.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Thigpen.
