Greg Rowley had a strong outing for the Carolina Mudcats against the Potomac Nationals at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. The defeat makes Potomac 14-32.

Rowley was charged with no runs on 4 hits over 7.2 innings for the Mudcats. With the win, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound left-hander goes to 1-2.

"Greg doing his thing just hyped us all up," said Carolina manager Jason Hawkins.
