Gamblin Shackles Frederick in 6-1 Pelicans Win
Myrtle Beach picked up a win at Harry Grove Stadium, toppling the Frederick Keys, 6-1. Pitcher Jim Gamblin was one of the reasons the Pelicans triumphed. With the win over Frederick, the Pelicans improved to 26-23.

Gamblin ran roughshod over the Frederick lineup. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 4-2 on the season.

"We're in a funk right now," said Frederick skipper Mark Crompton.
