Dash Pull Off Thrilling 6-1 Win in Extras
Fans who congregated at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Winston-Salem Dash racked up a win at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, bumping off the Potomac Nationals, 6-1, in 10 innings. Angelo Trejo, who started for Winston-Salem, pitched effectively for his team. Winston-Salem reliever Cortez Estrada got the win, raising his record to 1-5. Bobby Vazquez was tagged with the loss.

Miguel Becerra went 1 for 3 with a hit by pitch for Winston-Salem. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Bobby Vazquez. It was his 15th RBI of the season.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Potomac manager Cruz Mares.

The Dash improved their record to 33-19 with the win over Potomac.
