Pelicans Get 7-4 Win Versus Winston-Salem
|
Myrtle Beach parlayed a decent outing from starter Leonardo Guzman into a solid win over the Winston-Salem Dash. The final score was 7-4. Ryan LaBrasca picked up the save for Myrtle Beach, his 5th of the year. The last-place Dash have lost 5 straight games.
Paul Forcier, who is tied for 6th in the CAR in RBI with 25, aided the Myrtle Beach cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Forcier.
