Evans Impresses as Blue Rocks Knock Off Mudcats, 4-2
|
Harry Evans was superb against Carolina. The left-hander, who is tied for 5th in the CAR in complete games with 1, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Blue Rocks victory. The score was 4-2. The Blue Rocks go to 29-28, putting them third in the Northern Division.
Though he did not get the decision, Evans did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6 innings, until Wilmington eventually rallied past the Mudcats.
Evans told a Wilmington Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
