The Myrtle Beach Pelicans turned back the Frederick Keys, 7-6, at Harry Grove Stadium. Mike Orlandi, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Myrtle Beach reliever Dave Rogers got the win, raising his record to 6-2. Bubba Bowers was tagged with the loss. Eric Lombardo recorded his 1st save for Myrtle Beach.

Orlandi contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Myrtle Beach in the top of the third. With his team trailing 4-3, Orlandi took a slider from Bubba Bowers and stroked the double to right-center. His 6th double of the season allowed the Pelicans to leap in front, 5-4.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Orlandi told the Myrtle Beach Gazette.

The Pelicans are now 32-25, while the Keys fall to 31-26.
