The Winston-Salem Dash picked up a win at BB&T Ballpark, knocking off the Lynchburg Hillcats, 4-3. On the mound for Winston-Salem was left-hander Dan Williams. He played a key role in the triumph. Winston-Salem reliever Freddie Watrous was the winner. His record is now 2-2. J.P. O'Kelley took the loss. The Dash now own a record of 32-27.

The decisive blow was delivered by David Lindemann in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher J.P. O'Kelley to win the game for Winston-Salem. The home crowd went nuts.

"Dan was in attack mode the whole game," said Winston-Salem manager Sam Simmons.
