Lynchburg Wins, 5-4, in Extra Innings
The Lynchburg Hillcats wiggled past the Potomac Nationals, 5-4, in 10 innings at Ed Smith Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Lynchburg pitcher Edwin Lucio. Lynchburg reliever Jay Courtney picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chris Corbett took the loss. The third-place Hillcats sport a record of 29-33.

The Hillcats got a clutch hit from left fielder Josh Eubanks. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hillcats.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Eubanks said.
