Hillcats Pick Up 7-1 Win
|
Jordan Gutierrez led Lynchburg to a win over Winston-Salem. The final score was 7-1. Gutierrez, who is tied for 5th in the CAR in bases on balls with 36, collected 2 RBI, while going 3 for 4 at the plate. The designated hitter also scored 2 times. The winning pitcher was Chris Mlnarik. He's now 5-0. He went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Hillcats. Jon Fenton closed it out for Lynchburg, earning his 1st save.
