Leon Impressive in Lynchburg Win
The first-place Lynchburg Hillcats picked up another win.

The Lynchburg Hillcats received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Jose Leon, allowing them to bump off the Potomac Nationals, 3-0. Oscar Mota closed out the game, earning his 2nd save.

Leon ran roughshod over the Potomac lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 6-7 on the season.

"Really, really impressed with the way Jose competed and executed pitches," said Lynchburg manager Diego Perez.

With the win, Lynchburg goes to 43-27, while the Nationals fall to 32-38.
