Nationals Snatch Late-Game, 4-3 Win
The Nationals grabbed a win, 4-3, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Myrtle Beach pitcher Eric Lombardo. Lombardo went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Potomac reliever Justin Carruth picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Alex Guzman was saddled with the loss. At 38-41, the Nationals are currently third in the Northern Division.

Oscar Jaurequi was the walk-off hero for Potomac. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nationals designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Jaurequi said.
