Mike Garner was nothing short of phenomenal for the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The 24-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Winston-Salem Dash, 1-0. Frank Rivera collected save number 5. The Blue Rocks now have a record of 40-39 with the win over Winston-Salem.

The Dash had trouble solving Garner, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings.

"I executed the game plan," said Garner.
